What is Ozone
Ozone is a gas (O3) that’s also known as activated oxygen. It allows more oxygen to reach your cells, temporarily increasing oxidative stress to stimulate a healing response.
Some physicians administer ozone therapy as a single therapy. We go a step further by adding ultraviolet light with ozone (UVO3). This increases the effect of the ozone, especially for immune function.
Ozone and UBI work synergistically to promote healing on a deep and cellular level.
Who Can Benefit
Anybody dealing with a chronic and inflammatory condition may be a candidate for Ozone & UBI therapy. For example:
- Autoimmune Conditions
- Chronic Fatigue or Fibromyalgia
- Respiratory Conditions (Asthma etc.)
- Eye Conditions (Retinopathy etc.)
- Hearing Loss or Tinnitus
- Circulatory Disorders
- Viral, Bacterial, or Fungal Infections
Some people, such as pregnant women or individuals with a blood clotting disorder, should not have ozone therapy. Call us to discuss if it’s a good option for you!
Benefits of Ozone & UBI Therapy
- Faster wound healing
- Enhanced microcirculation
- Improved mitochondrial health
- More efficient energy production
- Strengthened immune system function
- Better oxygen delivery to your organs and tissues
- Balanced oxidants and antioxidants for cellular health
Ozone & UBI can decrease pain and inflammation while boosting performance, energy, brain function and overall wellness.
What to Expect
After Your Ozone & UBI Session
Some people feel an increased sense of energy and mental clarity. Others experience a temporary detox reaction where they feel worse before they feel better. We may recommend a nutrient IV after the session to boost your antioxidant response and reduce the detox effects.
To achieve the greatest benefits, we recommend a series of 5-10 sessions.
Safety of Ozone & UBI
You may have heard of ozone as an air pollutant or disinfectant. These forms are toxic irritants, but medical ozone is generated differently.
For your safety, we never administer ozone gas directly into a vein (DIV). We always combine ozone gas with your own blood or saline before administering it intravenously.
Ozone therapy has been used in medicine for over 50 years and is backed by over 2500 published scientific articles. More than 5000 medical professionals safely administer ozone therapy around the world today.
Other Applications of Ozone Therapy
Ozone and UBI therapy administered in the blood is the most common form. This is the process described above and is called major autohemotherapy or MAH.
Other applications of ozone that we offer include intramuscular injection (minor autohemotherapy ), joint ozone injections, insufflation (into the ears, rectum, or vagina), or topical creams and oils.
